Skin-Contact chardonnay from…champagne?

This whole experience was a treat. For starters, how can you not root for Clemence of Lelarge-Pugeot out of Vrigny (a Premier Cru village located in Montagne de Reims just 10 km away from Reims)? A winegrower family since 1799 with a focus on organic viticulture, the delicate hand and expertise of Lelarge-Pugeot always steals my heart with every bottle. A rich and textured wine hits with a sort of stillness. Orange apricot soft as can be with a gentle steeped tea-texture. Soft swirling movement and a lingering lightness. What a delight.
